With over 20 years in education—spanning roles as both teacher and administrator—and more than seven years in real estate, I bring a unique blend of instructional expertise and industry knowledge to everything I do. My academic and professional credentials include a Master's degree in Education, a Master's in Public Administration, a Project Management Certificate, a Life Coach Certification, and the Certified Master Inspector designation.

I am a licensed home inspector in Maryland and Virginia and the owner of DS Home Inspection Services, LLC, which I founded in 2020. From 2022 to 2025, I also served as an instructor at the College of Southern Maryland, teaching the Maryland and Virginia Pre-Licensing Course for prospective home inspectors.

As an InterNACHI® Partner Instructor, I'm proud that DS Home Inspection Academy is an InterNACHI® Training Partner. Through this partnership, our students gain access to InterNACHI® School (internachi.edu)—the only accredited home inspector college offering free memberships to enrolled students.

I'm honored to serve on the board of Joe A Sanders Vo-Tech Fund Inc., an organization dedicated to empowering individuals through vocational-technical skills training. Our mission is to pave the way for gainful employment, long-term career success, and financial independence.

Beyond formal instruction, I coach aspiring and new home inspectors on their path to success. For those just starting out, I provide national exam preparation and guidance on launching a home inspection business—including how to avoid the common pitfalls that rarely get discussed. For newer inspectors, I offer training on sustaining and growing their business through brand visibility, strategic partnerships, ancillary services, reputation management, and leveraging reviews.

Central to all my coaching is helping inspectors overcome limiting beliefs—often the most significant barrier to success in this industry.
